To lead the surge of developing creative industries ,inviting celebrities and experts who particularly specialize in creative industries from the Cross-Strait , The 4th Cross-Strait(Xiamen)Culture Industries Fair(CCCIF) had been raised with the slogan "culture heritage and creating in the future" on 31st ,Oct~3,Nov.Hong Kong Council for Creation and Technology(HKCTC) attended the Expo as an co-organizer and were particularly invited to be the organizer of Hong Kong exhibition area.Danny Cheung,Chairman of China committee of HKCTC was invited to attend the opening ceremony.

Better than any previous Xiamen Culture Industries Fairs, it was a large scale that had 1800 booths in 40000m2 exhibition area. Moreover, signing of investment project on the expo is 30 billions yuan that would be doubled than before. HKCTC established a special creative design show on 200m2 exhibition area, showing off the advantage of creative industries and the latest practical information from Hong Kong region, bring the valuable experience on developing creative industries in Hong Kong into this culture creativity Spectacle.

During the expo, creative speeches had been raised around the topics related to creative industries in Hong Kong exhibiting area by experts included Alex Wong, Chairman of YRD Committee of HKCTC, Shan Yip, Chief Director of Creative & Brand Optimization Center of HKCTC, Frankie so, Chief Director of Innovative Digital Industry Center of HKCTC. We also invite the famous architect designer from Italy to attend the expo to analyze the problem about the development of foreign designer in China through his speech. The speeches attracted many people which was concerning about the development of creative industries. For experience exchanges and enhancing relation with others, Danny and others members positively communicated with experts on the expo from every regions, exploring opportunities jointly to contribute to the growth of creative economy. Ms Lei Yulan, the vice governor of Guangdong Province also visited Hong Kong exhibiting area and appreciated that the forum held by HKCTC.

In addition to the existing programme, a large creative forum hosted by HKCTC with slogan ”culture flash a city” gathered some famous experts from Taiwan and Mainland China as well as Hong Kong. Analyzing the problem of developing creative industries in Cross-Straits through creative brand and creative media industries related topics , HKCTC managed to explore solutions with the experts in collaboration between Hong Kong and Mainland China as well as Taiwan to accelerate the development of creative industries. They also exchange their experience and opinion to benefit each other’s visionaries.
